Why we built it
Why we built Send to Site
We built Send to Site because small business owners were paying every month to keep WordPress running, and still waiting on a developer for small changes.
The upkeep never ends. A WordPress site needs its core, theme and plugins updated, its security patches applied and its backups run. Published South African care plans for that work range from under R100 to almost R7 000 a month, and most of them sell a set number of hours for changes.
After all that, a new phone number or an updated price list still means an email to a developer and a wait. The owner knows exactly what the change is. Describing it should be enough.
Our view is that a website should be easy to change and hard to break. Easy to change means you describe what you want in an email, the way you would tell a person. Hard to break means no plugins or login page to attack, and no change reaching your site until it has passed its checks and you have approved it.
We run it on a site of our own. Raimond rebuilt dcreviews.co.za, a debt counsellor review site, from WordPress and runs it on the same system you would use. In a Google Lighthouse mobile test of its home page in September 2026, the time to show the main content fell from 7.0 s to 1.2 s. See how the rebuild works.

How we build Send to Site
We build it on six rules, and most of them are enforced by the system itself rather than by good intentions.
Nothing goes live without your approval
Every change and every article waits for you to tap Publish. If you never answer, nothing on your site changes.
Checks are code, not promises
The check that blocks any added script, iframe, embed or tracker, and any page deleted or emptied, is written into the system. It runs on every change, whether or not anyone remembers it.
A separate reviewer
A second process reads every change and confirms it does only what you asked. It cannot write anything: if its copy changes at all, the job fails.
Archive, never delete
Every change stays in version history, and an undo is an exact reverse of it. Articles you decline are archived, not deleted.
We measure before we claim
Our speed figures come from a Google Lighthouse test of dcreviews.co.za before and after its rebuild. The email-to-live time of 3 min 57 s was clocked on 22 September 2026. Where we quote a number, we say where it came from.
A person when the system cannot help
If the system cannot handle a request, it escalates, and a person responds within one business day. Every job also has a hard time limit.

The 35 scenarios covered the whole life of a change, among them replies, cancellations, attachments and questions, refusals, retries, reviewer rejections, and articles and changes happening at the same time. The 20 unusual requests included defamatory text, a request to copy a competitor's design, a password reset and a South African ID number. Each was declined, passed to a person or stopped.
